Why RestaurantOS exists
Walk into most independent restaurants in India and you will find the same scene: a stack of paper menus that haven't been updated in months, a billing machine from 2012, and a kitchen that relies on shouted orders and handwritten KOT slips. The result? Missed orders, wrong bills, frustrated customers, and owners who can't tell you their best-selling dish without guessing.
The big POS companies sell expensive hardware bundles and lock you into multi-year contracts. The modern SaaS tools are built for American and European markets — wrong currency, wrong workflow, wrong assumptions about how an Indian kitchen operates.
RestaurantOS was built to fill that gap: a lightweight, web-based operating system that works the way Indian restaurants actually work — KOT-first, QR-based, mobile-friendly, and priced for a single-outlet café owner, not a chain with a tech budget.
